Overview
AirSprite’s is introducing a family of products based on two key emerging wireless standards, WirelessHART and ISA100. The company’s products use IEEE 802.15.4-based wireless mesh sensor networking to unleash powerful information that is trapped in intelligent field devices. The information is then transmitted to critical plant and enterprise applications to dramatically improve plant utilization and operations.
AirSprite’s products include a wireless adaptor that can be retrofitted to existing field devices, and a wireless gateway. Based on open standards, these products will work with installed systems and devices, eliminating the cost and frustration of having to purchase proprietary wireless systems and instrumentation from a single vendor.
