Job Summary: Supports successful sale and implementation of AirSprite products throughout the entire customer buying cycle. For pre-sales, demonstrates products, assists with seminars, assesses application possibilities for prospects, and guides solution design. For post-sales, supports start-ups, training, and ongoing technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Offsite and onsite pre-sales and post-sales technical support, startup assistance, and training to insure successful specification and implementation of wireless solutions based on AirSprite products.
- Develop system solution proposals and layouts based on site surveys.
- Provide on-site system design, troubleshooting, and start-up assistance.
- Provide customers and sales channel with ongoing technical support of AirSprite products.
- Support technical needs of trade shows and sales opportunities.
- Create and give demonstrations of AirSprite products to prospective customers and
partners.
- Lead and support product seminars for prospective customers and partners.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in a technical field.
- Three years or more of experience working with process automation systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working directly with end users in a technical support or training role.
- Experience or detailed knowledge of automation technologies including PLCs, DCSs, HART, OPC, Profibus, Modbus, Foundation Fieldbus, historians, and HMIs.
- Experience with PC, Windows-based software, ethernet infrastructure, TCP/IP, and wireless systems.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, periodically on short notice.
