Job Summary: Builds and executes programs for AirSprite’s business development efforts. Responsible for identifying and realizing attractive growth and alliance opportunities in the industrial automation industry. Provides leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry through business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Alliances: Help drive company revenue and profits by identifying, building, and managing long-term alliances with strategic partners. Define partner ecosystems, negotiate multiple categories of relationships, and managing each relationship. Initiate and complete proposals, presentations, terms and conditions, negotiations and execution for these alliances.
- New business opportunities: Develop new business by identifying and evaluating specific business opportunities. Work with product management to identify and evaluate new markets, new products, and related partnership opportunities.
- Partner programs: Establish and manage programs for multiple types of partners, including complementors, resellers, distributors, system integrators, and OEMs.
- Industry visibility: Maintain a high level of industry visibility for the company through relationships to aid in attracting new business opportunities.
- Planning: Team with senior management to contribute to the overall business development direction of the company.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Seasoned business development skill set, including extensive deal-making experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and deal-structuring skills.
- Strong understanding of the industrial controls and industrial wireless industries.
- MBA and 5-10 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
