The AirSprite team – experts from the wireless sensor networking and industrial automation markets – is creating infrastructure products that support tighter plant and enterprise-level application integration. Advancing the convergence of automation and information technology across the manufacturing enterprise, AirSprite ‘s team is developing secure, scalable, and flexible solutions based on the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless mesh sensor network.

Paul Sereiko

President & CEO
Paul Sereiko, AirSprite’s President and CEO, brings extensive experience in wireless sensor networking, real-time location systems, and embedded systems software. Previously, he was the founding CEO of wireless sensor networking provider, Sensicast Systems, and the member of senior management teams at numerous other high-tech enterprises including PinPoint Corporation and SystemSoft Corporation. Paul holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Jean Dubois

Senior Vice President of Engineering
Jean Dubois, AirSprite’s Senior Vice President of Engineering, brings over 27 years of engineering and management experience in the process control and telecommunications industries. Jean’s recent positions include: Senior Vice President of Engineering for Flagship Ventures portfolio companies, a venture capital firm focused on the life science and technology sectors; Founder and CEO of Pelago Networks, a telecommunication equipment manufacturer enabling enhanced voice services in the carrier market; and Vice President of Engineering at Shiva. At Shiva Jean played a major role in the company's initial public offering and acquisitions. Prior to Shiva, Jean held senior management positions in R&D, M&A, business development, technical consulting and product management at Digital Equipment Corporation. His engineering experience includes industrial process automation with Rhone Poulenc, Nestle, and Bausch & Lomb. Jean holds a Master of Science in Chemistry/Optics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Ecole de Chimie de Toulouse, France.

Patrick Moran

Co-Founder & CTO
Patrick Moran, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of AirSprite, is responsible for strategic technical planning. He provides focus, vision and guidance for long-term technology opportunities within the company. He brings over 25 years of research, design, and development experience to the company. Prior to AirSprite, Patrick held senior-level technical positions at Quantum, Maxtor, Digital Equipment and 3M. He holds several patents in the field of communications and signal processing. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Wayne Shumaker

Co-Founder & Chief Firmware Architect
Wayne Shumaker, Chief Firmware Architect and co-founder of AirSprite, is responsible for research and system architecture development. With nearly 30 years of experience in advanced development and design, Wayne has been instrumental in the advancement of the company’s long-term vision. Before founding AirSprite, Wayne worked in senior design and development roles at Linear Technologies, Digital Equipment and Motorola. Wayne holds an MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.

David Siegel

Vice President, Product Management
As Vice President of Product Management, David brings over 25 years of marketing and technical experience in the software, manufacturing, and instrumentation industries to AirSprite. Most recently, he served on Gensym Corporation's executive team as director of marketing, where he was responsible for delivering real-time software products for monitoring, diagnosing, and managing industrial operations in the manufacturing, telecommunications, transportation, and government markets. Prior to Gensym, David's roles included senior engineering and management with Stone & Webster and Exxon Chemicals. David holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Management degree from M.I.T.'s Sloan School.
